El Santuario de Chimayo is a church located in Chimayo New Mexico. Built in the late 1800 's , it is said to be the Lourdes of America. There are testimonials of crippled pilgrims walking away healed and the miracles occur after the hands are rubbed with the holy dirt that mysteriously appears and never depletes in supply in the church. It is open daily for public viewing. The church is also used as the Catholic parish in the community of Chimayo, located approx. 20 miles northeast of Santa Fe NM.

Wo Hing Temple

Kona Sunset

This block print is based on the tikis that are found in THE CITY OF REFUGE on the big Island of Hawaii, just south of Kona. This was considered a sacred place in Hawaiian folklore and is now a park of the state of Hawaii.

Quarai at Sunset

This picture depicts the remaining structure of a church that was erected by the Franciscan Friars in the late 1600 ' s. Due to pestilence, famine and warfare with other Indian communities, the Quarai settlement died off and the church was never completed. Quarai is located in the Salinas National Monument and is open for viewing daily. Its a great place for a picnic and it is located approximately one and half hours Southeast of Albuquerque.

The Island of Alcatraz is situated in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. This famous island is known for its maximum security federal penitentiary, which is now one of the top tourist attractions in the San Francisco area. The lighthouse in this image has been tilted by the artist to create a visual effect. This lighthouse is still used and it is structurally sound and in no way is it tilted like the leaning Tower of Pisa.

The original idea of this work comes from seeing the Marin County Civic Center, built in San Rafael, California in 1959.
The architect is Frank Lloyd Wright, and the building houses Marin County's government offices.
